Even though she’s busy on her 1989 tour, the “Bad Blood” singer took a moment to celebrate Selena Gomez’s 23rd birthday by posting a very special message on Twitter – along with some adorable photos of the duo! “They were there before I was, and were still there when I left”, she says. All the while, the introduction from the album’s lead single “Good for You” was playing in the background.

She may be a star but it’s clear Selena Gomez has kept her feet on the ground despite being in the spotlight.

Selena’s new album, ‘Revival, ‘ is expected to be released on October 9th. “I think I drove myself mad for a little bit”, Gomez revealed. Over the course of the last month Selena has been linked to her ex Justin Bieber, Niall Horan, Cody Simpson, Orlando Bloom, Ed Sheeran, and Nick Jonas.

And Selena was totes on the same wavelength as her model mate Gigi Hadid on New Year’s Eve 2014 in their sparkly gold dresses on the sand in Abu Dhabi.

The singer turns the big 2-3 on July 22 and is also holding out hope that her bestie Taylor Swift, 25, will tag along for the Disneyland celebration if it happens. The singer admitted that she did not like the way her best friends were treated especially when she is out with them in social settings. This is reportedly something that she does not feel comfortable about.

“I think she’s unbelievable”, she gushed about the comedienne.

Selena co-wrote most of the tracks on Revival, something she’s never done before. “It’s something that I have to live with and I have to find the balance of who I want in my life and who isn’t good for me”.
