Selena Gomez announces ‘Revival’ world tour
Take a look at the newest pictures of Selena Gomez “Surprise!”
Selena Gomez has just announced her 2016 Revival World Tour! “And Taylor has such a handsome way of bringing people together. It’s something I work on”. In a June interview with Elvis Duran, Gomez explained that it comes from being constantly scrutinized. I’m not any of those things.
That being said, the “Same Old Love” singer does admit that she’s had a rough go of things following her split from Justin Bieber.
She told the new issue of Flare magazine: “I was really bummed when I found out all that stuff was going on”. I don’t trust anyone…
The transition is not just personal, since the album marks a graduation in her career as well. “It’s not fair for them to try to control my life”.
Disney stardom is temporary; credibility is forever. It’s not that hard – I’m a nice young lady – but that’s not my focus, ‘ Selena insisted.
“Revival is the first song on the album, and the first lines are, ‘I feel like I’ve awakened – the chains around me are finally breaking'”.
In the same interview, Selena talks about her harsh experience on social media from earlier this year, when paparazzi photos of herself in a 2-piece swimsuit started a frenzy of comments about how “fat” she’d gotten. “So I asked if I could executive-produce it”, Gomez dished. But their fans are still very convinced that Bieber and Gomez will be able to continue their platonic relationship without getting involved romantically. “I’m not the best singer – like, I know I’m not Celine Dion”. “Ever since I was 16, I’ve had this lower register, what I thought was a very manly voice, and I was insecure about that”.
She adds, “I have compassion, I have forgiveness, I have understanding, and this is my life-this is how I choose to live it. I’ve never been disappointed in the choices I’ve made, which I’m proud of”. “That’s what I wanted the record to feel like”. And Gomez revealed that she’s not letting the criticism of her body get her down.
Gomez also offered a few advice for girls growing up with social media- “It’s not real”. The issue hits news stands on October 12.
