Selena Gomez to Appear on ‘The Voice’
The Voice Season 9 is adding more celebrity power as it adds R&B singer Rihanna and pop princess Selena Gomez as advisors to the coaches who will train the contestants on the popular show. After Christina Aguilera took over for her in Season 8, Gwen Stefani will reclaim her big red chair in season 9, as previously reported by global Business Times.
After announcing that Rihanna will come on board as a “key advisor” to all four famous coaches this fall, the NBC reality show has now roped in another beloved solo artist.
Selena Gomez will serve as Gwen Stefani’s team adviser. “It’s so inspiring”, referring to her return after taking a break in Season 8. The news was revealed on the show’s Twitter account.
She said: “I had no idea what that was until someone else asked me and then obviously I know Zayn now so it’s not like a weird thing”.
“I love being in the presence of women, especially women who are so comfortable in their own skin and support other women”. “It’s just flawless. I think to me that was exactly what I want people to see for the next chapter for me”, Gomez told Ryan Seacrest in June.
Selena and Gwen will be in good company when “The Voice” Season 9 premieres on September 21 on NBC. “The dedication and the years that she’s put in, and to [not] only be so young, but have so much experience, is kind of incredible”.
The “Good For You” singer has been busy shooting the music video of her next song and she was snapped in a oh-so-hot look.
Selena Gomez has been in showbiz since she was ten when she appeared in the show “Barney and Friends” back in 2002.
