Selena Joins ‘Neighbors’ Sequel
In the original, Rogen and Byrne play a couple whose lives are turned upside down when a college fraternity, led by Efron, move into the adjacent house.
Singer-Actress Selena Gomez has been cast in “Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising”, the sequel to comedy film “Neighbors” that released in 2014.
On Wednesday, the actress was on the sets wearing a strapless pink teeny-mini dress as she donned the look of a stylish bombshell with Sorority girls during the shooting.
Chloe Moretz is the other major new cast member, likely as the sorority’s leader.
But don’t worry, Seth Rogen assured us that Zac Efron will most definitely be reprising his ab-tastic role as Teddy Sanders in the sequel.
Also Rogen and Goldberg are co-producing “Neighbors-Sorority Rising” with James Weaver through their Point Grey Pictures and Good Universe, THR reported.
What to you think about Gomez’s movie makeover? Two of our Disney Channel alumni, no two of the biggest stars in Hollywood, are going to be starring in a movie together! “I’m not super-confident in it, but acting is my first love”, Gomez was quoted as saying by Mirror in December 2013.
Directed by Nicholas Stoller, “Neighbors 2” will hit theatres May 20, 2016. She’ll be back in theaters later this month, once again lending her voice to Dracula’s daughter, Mavis, in the Genndy Tartakovsky animated sequel, Hotel Transylvania 2.
