Selfless Paramedic Bride Rushes To Crash Still In Her Wedding Dress

“I needed to make sure that they were there, and it just so happens that I’m a paramedic and that I was in my wedding dress, and that’s all there is to it”.

“We hopped in the auto with my sister and her husband and headed to the crash”.

“The first thing I did was hop in the back of the ambulance with my grandmother to check on her”, Ray said.

“We had stopped at accidents before and in regular clothes”, she added. It was one of several broadcasts they did as her wedding day photo went viral.

In a now viral photo, Martin captured Sarah walking away from the scene of an accident in her wedding dress.

‘I don’t think what we did was heroic.

And that’s how badass brides who save lives on the wedding day roll.

While her grandmother suffered a few “major bumps and bruises”, everyone in the auto was OK and the reception went on as planned. “You’re taking a picture right now?'” Ray said.

Paul and Sarah Ray eventually got to celebrate after the emergency.

While still wearing their formal attire, Ray and her husband, Paul, who is also a paramedic, arrived at the scene of the crash to provide medical assistance.

“Professionally, Sarah is an outstanding paramedic and exemplifies what it means to work in EMS”, Edwards said. “She was there with the paramedic and EMT that responded”.

‘Personally, she is humble and compassionate and sets a good example for us all.

As proud as her mum is, the image made Ray laugh.

“I’m just a husband in the background”, he said. “We appreciate the support”. So being the heroes that they are, they sprung into action and attended to the scene which resulted in this photo being taken.

“It’s just been a whirlwind”, Sarah Ray said.
