Senate intel chair reviewing whether Ted Cruz revealed classified info
Several rivals are bunching together behind Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump in the early-voting state of New Hampshire, according to a Friday poll.
“I’m a Republican, but I’m so disappointed in the Republicans”, he said.
The implication was there was plotting about how to work around an outsider frontrunner, like, say, Trump or Carson, who would fall short of a majority of delegates going into the convention in favor of a more establishment-friendly candidate. And while 29 percent of Granite Staters think Trump would do the best job handling terrorism, Christie came in second with 14 percent, edging out Cruz and Rubio.
“The Committee is not investigating anything said during last night’s Republican Presidential debate, Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Richard Burr, R-North Carolina, and Vice Chairwoman Dianne Feinstein, D-California, said in a statement”.
I found it amusing that while Jeb Bush was lighting into Trump, the CNN cameras went to split screen, showing Trump making faces and rolling his eyes.
Noting that Bush was once near center stage at GOP stage, the businessman added: “You know, you started off over here, Jeb”.
Rubio never said in the debate whether he still sees citizenship as an eventual possibility. You know, Mark Levin wrote a column last week that says that the attack ads his Super PAC is running that are saying the same thing, that they are knowingly false, and they are, in fact, Alinsky-like attacks like Barack Obama. The older information we have we can’t even use anymore. “And I finished up by saying, ‘We aren’t winning anymore'”. Bush’s points were completely lost in the fascination with Trump’s mugging. I have great respect for the people I have met in this process.
“And then I hit back very, very hard”.
Across party lines, much of the immigration divisions among the candidates are centered around whether or not there should be a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants and what any path to legal status should look like.
Trump said the current administration is losing on numerous fronts.
“I hear now he’s doing… negative commercials on me”, Trump said. Rand Paul, who both said the USA has higher priorities than ousting Assad.
But before he made the statement, Trump said he ruled out ever running as an independent candidate, as he has suggested in the past.
