Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo; Yakubu Dogara, speaker of the house of representatives; Mahmud Mohammed, chief justice of Nigeria; Yakubu Gowon, former head of state; Alex Ekwueme, Ernest Shonekan, former interim president; all the service chiefs, were among the dignitaries that witnessed Thursday’s programme.

“I remain committed to the institution of the National Assembly and independence of the legislature, hence I will not allow myself to be intimidated or stampeded out of office,” he stressed.
“While we advise patriotic Nigerians to be on the lookout for such misinformation and regard them as the puerile propaganda that they are, we want to assure them that just like the phantom alleged forgery of the Senate Standing Rules, this too will surely fail”, he said.
