Separatist leader Shabir Ahmad Shah put under house arrest
Lone is the fourth separatist from Kashmir who was detained at the Delhi airport.

Asked if Pakistan NSA Sartaj Aziz’s proposed assembly with Hurriyat leaders might be thought-about a hurdle to talks with India, he stated the engagement between the 2 nations was extra necessary and talks with Hurriyat shouldn’t matter a lot.

The Pakistani invitation, which is seen as yet another “provocation” by Indian side, comes after persistent ceasefire violations as well as two terror attacks in recent weeks in Gurdaspur and Udhampur which many observers see as Pakistan army’s opposition to any discussions with India. India was running diplomacy through media and trying to give impression that Pakistan army was not supportive of talks.
On Thursday, several separatist leaders were held in Srinagar, the main city in Indian-controlled Kashmir, but released hours later.
