Seth Meyers forced back to work in hilarious ‘Making a Murderer’ spoof
If you are like most of America, instead of spending time with your family and friends this holiday break, you spent time binge watching Netflix’s “Making a Murderer”.
Meyers opened Monday’s Late Night with a documented phone-call back and forth asking him to return to the show, complete with Wisconsin accents, bizarrely repetitive phrasing and all.
In the clip, called “Making a Talk Show Host”, Meyers poked fun at the huge amount of collect calls that were included in the series when an operator connected him to staff member at 30 Rockefeller Center.
Marvel Comics’ Director of Content & Character Development Sana Amanat is scheduled to appear as a guest on Late Night With Seth Meyers on Tuesday, January 5.
If you’re like us, you probably fell into a deep, dark “Making A Murderer” hole this holiday season.
Seth asks: ‘Supposing I don’t wanna come back?’ In the parody, Meyers is told he’s “gotta come back” after his winter hiatus. But the staff member isn’t having any of it. Soon after county officials were deposed in that lawsuit, Avery was accused of murder in the killing of Teresa Halbach, a 25-year-old photographer.
‘What time’s the show on again?’ asked Myers.
