MEC Mamabolo today 03 March 2017 visited the site of the collapse along with investigators who started their work.
After using specialist equipment, which included sniffer dogs, drillers and shovels, Emergency Services say they are certain that all people have been accounted for.
She said contractors “were working to seal the roof because it was leaking and the structure caved in”.

“If we were to visit them just to check how they are – we’ll need permission from the company”. Several people were feared trapped in the rubble following the accident.
At least two people were trapped after part of a hospital roof collapsed in Johannesburg, local reports said Thursday.
“It’s a small section‚ there are no patients there‚” said Gauteng health department spokesman Prince Hamnca.
“The collapse took place in the passage near maternity department on the hospital street”.
“We also demand that the project report detailing the exact outline of the causes of the collapse be handed to it and be made public, so that liability, responsibility and accountability may be transparently determined”.
Emergency services are now on the scene trying to stabilise the main entrance where the collapse happened. It has 1,088 usable beds.
