Nixon has launched a fundraising page for her campaign and put out a campaign video.

Nixon has in recent months given speeches and interviews calling on Democrats nationally to run “bluer” in 2018 and carve out a strong, progressive liberal identity rather than being merely “the anti-Trump party”.

The two-minute video features Nixon discussing rising inequality rates throughout the state while riding both New York’s Metro-North and New York City’s much-maligned subway system.
