Shah Rukh Khan is India’s Top-Earning actor, as per 2015 Forbes
Forbes India 2015 Celebrity list has been released by the world famous magazine.
In an interview to the Forbes magazine, Shah Rukh Khan (who has said that he will be doing 3 films a year) spoke about various aspects, including his movie production company “Red Chillies Entertainments” turning distributor for the first time with Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale.
Salman grabbed the second position followed by Amitabh, who earned Rs.112.00 crore this year.
Besides the earnings estimates, the overall Celebrity 100 list also takes into account the fame.
All these amounts are estimated on pre-tax earnings.
On the Celebrity 100 list, Big B slipped to No. 3 from No. 2 previous year, while cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni maintained his position at No.4.
Here they are! A total of 15 stars from South India have made it to the Forbes Celeb list.
On the fame rankings, King Khan still lags behind at number four, with Big B reigning at number one with over 18 million followers on Twitter, the highest-ever for any celebrity on the list. Their rise on the list is entirely due to earnings from brand endorsements and their fame quotient. Dhanush has an estimate income of 42 crores and he held the 64th position in the fame rank.
Prabhas, Rajamouli, Puri Jagganadh, Ravi Teja, Kajal Agarwal and Shruti Hassan have made it to the top 100 list. Notable names like Sanjay Leela Bhansali, AR Murugadoss and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy moved out of the list in 2015.
Shah Rukh Khan is back at the top yet again. The list included actors, singers, musicians, television stars and sports person.
