Shah Rukh Khan to unveil Sania’s autobiography

Readers may be aware that Sania shares a great rapport with several Bollywood celebrities and hence will have that tinge of glamour when her book is launched across the country this month. Sania Mirza, meanwhile, was looking quite pretty in her creamy salwaar kameez with golden embroidery. Today the official launching will take place.

On his part, Shah Rukh said he had agreed to be part of the function not just because of his friendship with the Mirzas but also as a token of recognition of Sania’s outstanding achievements amidst adversity.

On July 15, there is another event in Delhi in which Mirza’s Bollywood friend Parineeti Chopra is expected to be the guest from the film industry.

Choreographer Farah Khan will be among others who will attend the book launch. Published by Harper Sport, the doubles star recounts her rise to the top of women’s tennis, and all the obstacles she had to face along the way.

Sania Mirza has revealed that while recovering from one of her surgeries in 2010 she had gone through a phase where she had cut herself off from even her family as she brooded over her future in the game. “It also touches on all the controversies of her life…everything has been covered…on her life including her career”, he further said.

The autobiography is comprised of 40 chapters and will showcase Mirza from the age of 4 or 5 till date.
