Shahrukh’s ‘Dilwale’ faces protests in India
In MP, the release of “Dilwale” was marred by protests from right wing groups in different districts, including three big cities of Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur. Due t this insane combination historic movie have high expectation in audience. “The shoot ended at 3 am on Sunday and while Kajol immediately left for Mumbai, SRK stayed back and chatted with Salman in his chalet for two more hours”. The movie also casts Varun and Kriti in lead roles.
“Dilwale” collected $3.4 million on Friday overseas. Both the films will continue to do well as we have Christmas weekend followed by New Year.
The wave of intolerance continues in India as shows for both Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani got cancelled last minute because of unexpected protests.
This was the first time Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan were seen together on stage since their infamous fight in 2007.
Host Salman Khan who has given two blockbusters “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” and “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” this year, will be celebrating his 50th birthday this week. But sadly the film even fails to completely entertain or sustain the interest of the viewer ending up as a disappointment even for the fans of the hitmaker. Dilwale will definitely break all the records of box office. This movie has lots of entertaining scenes.
As like the other movies of Rohit Shetty this movie has combination of action, comedy and romance. A source quoted him as saying, “One day some guests arrived on the sets of Karan Arjun, so SRK came into our room to sleep and he dozed off first”. This film is made with Rs. 135 crores. However, total domestic business done by Dilwale on 1st day is estimated about Rs. 40 Crore (approx.).The makers are very happy for the movie success. Because of the huge release, which is hit in 3000 theaters across the world, it is the least expected to collect Rs. 22 crores on its first Day.
