Shakhtar star Alex Teixeira dreaming of Chelsea despite Juventus interest

Brazil ace Alex Teixeira has revealed Chelsea are in “deep” talks to try and lure him to Stamford Bridge. Shakhtar has said they will not release me in January, only at the end of the season.

However, Teixeria believes that a move in January will be hard, and may have to wait until the summer to seal a transfer away.

“I’m glad to have received a proposal from Chelsea, they’re a great club in Europe”, Teixeira is quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror.

Teixeira has been in electric form for the Ukrainian giants so far this term, bagging an impressive 23 goals in 23 games across all competitions, and it now looks as though he could be heading for western Europe after confirming offers from Chelsea, Juventus and Paris Saint Germain.

Mourinho is said to have already placed a couple of strikers as a target and now Shakhtar Donetsk star Alex Teixeira has gone on to reveal that the Blues are courting his services.

“It’s my dream, I’ve told many people that I wish to play in the Premier League because I think it is the best championship of the world, the most competitive one, and I want to have this challenge in my career”. “I want to work with him and have a lot of success alongside him”.

‘I hope he does not leave Chelsea now.

“I’m not sure if it was him who suggested me to the Blues, but I read an interview in which he said he was paying attention to my football skills, that he sent scouts to watch me”.

The Shakhtar midfielder has attracted a lot of interest with his explosive performances this season in the league as well as the Champions league.

‘Only God knows what will happen tomorrow, ‘ he said. “I have two more years of contract with Shakhtar”. However, there is no particular team I might choose’.
