Shaq and Pippen Engage in Instagram War

According to the former Laker’s statement, a team of himself, Kobe Bryant, Elgin Baylor, Magic Johnson, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar would handle a side with the Bulls’ Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Horace Grant, and Derrick Rose. Scottie Pippen tried that Monday, and pretty much got crushed – humorously, of course – for his trouble.

O’Neal might not be bullying inside the paint anymore but he remains bullish on social media, posting a fan-made photo of both the Bulls and the Lakers all-time starting teams with a comment “We would beat em by fifty “what you think”.

Pippen wasn’t going to let Shaq get away with that prediction.

At that point, it was on, at least in O’Neal’s mind.

UPDATE: See? Scottie Pippen knows. But hey, what about all those times Shaq was a sidekick? In fact, the Chicago side would arguably form a more cohesive on-court unit, but ultimately, it would likely be unable to keep up with Los Angeles on the scoreboard.

Or does Pippen have the upper hand with his six trophies?

Soon after Shaq’s post, Pippen responded with a post of his own.

Pretty sure Shaq won this Instagram battle. He took a swing at the big man’s infamy at the free throw line.
