Sharad Yadav hails Kushwaha’s suspension by Bihar CM Nitish Kumar
Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit on Monday dubbed former Bihar urban development and housing minister Awadhesh Kushwaha’s sting operation hours before the polls as politically motivated and said it reveals the frustration and fear in BJP’s mind.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday “suspended” cabinet minister Awadhesh Kushwaha after a video allegedly showing him receiving money from a businessman. “You have lost, hence go back and take care of the functioning of your ministries”, the RJD supremo said in a twitter post.
In the video, Rashtriya Janata Dal candidate from Jehanabad, Mundrika Singh Yadav, too has been shown giving “assurance” to the person doing the sting operation for his work to be done.At Mr. Yadav’s residence, two other party leaders, RJD candidate from Makhdumpur in Jehanabad district, Subedar Das, and brother of a party leader from the Kosi area, too were shown taking bribe. “Name those five ministers”, Modi demanded. “He is not even ashamed of the jungle raj of his previous regime”. Can Bihar be allowed to go into the hands of people who have become shameless, to those who are not ashamed of such money transactions? “Will he resign as Prime Minister after the defeat?” Of this, Rs. 1.25 lakh crore is for new development.
“There were no corruption problems till they had the government here”.
Sniffing a conspiracy behind the denial of permission earlier on to hold a rally in Bhabhua, he said, “I can see the sea of humanity and now I understand why I was not being given permission by the administration”. Referring to this, the PM accused the state government of trying to suppress his voice, and added: “No matter how much they try to gag my voice, I will speak”.
“Nitish Kumar’s tall claims of fighting corruption have been exposed”.
