She’s back: Ex-UFC champ Rousey joins WWE

It has been highly anticipated for months, that Ronda Rousey would make her debut in the WWE in time for this year’s WrestleMania, and that time has come.

“This is my life now”.

This year’s Royal Rumble was all about firsts. This is not a smash-and-grab; this is not a publicity stunt.

Many fans are now questioning if Mysterio has now returned to the WWE, or if his Royal Rumble appearance was just a one-off.

She came and tried to shake the Royal Rumble victor Asuka’s hand, who didn’t quite return the gesture.

“I feel like the only thing that helped me – winning the Olympics was the only thing I cared about as a kid, I devoted my whole life to it and I tried and I tried”. Rousey even showed up to WWE events to support friend and former MMA fighter Shayna Baszler, which only ramped up speculation. Rousey would win her first six fights, all by arm bar, before becoming the first women’s champion in UFC history at the end of 2012.

Following the event, Rousey discussed her new role in WWE with ESPN and said it will be her new focus.

“That’s what everybody else seems to say – I mean, I never retired from judo”.

Rousey won her all three amateur MMA Fights in less than a minute, She won 12 consecutive fights, including UFC and it’s surprising that nine of them by armbar submission.

Ronda Rousey’s crossover into professional wrestling is official.

Rousey had been seen at the “Mae Young Classic” this summer, and had been rumored to be in talks with Triple H for quite some time.

This is interesting to hear, although, as noted above, the consensus is that Rousey’s fighting days are over. “Straight up disrespectful to Asuka and all the hardworking female WWE Superstars”.

Before the Royal Rumble, her most notable appearance for the sports entertainment company came back at WrestleMania 31 back in 2015 during a segment that involved The Rock, Triple H, and Stephanie McMahon. I’m on the road with all the other girls, all the men and women who are on the road 270 days a year. “Ronda continues to achieve everything she has ever wanted”. The Japanese wrestler is certainly on a roll as she is yet to be pinned or submitted inside the WWE ring.

Now, Rousey is just looking forward to the next chapter. She was wearing a leather jacket and had a T-shirt on underneath that said “Hot Ronda!” on it.
