Shia LaBeouf Arrested at Austin City Limits Festival

On Friday night, Shia LaBeouf was handcuffed and arrested by local police in Austin, Texas.

One witness told TMZ the 29-year-old “Transformers” star was wasted on alcohol or drugs as he ran wild down the street, disobeying officers and acting out of control.

Shia was warned by law enforcement to not continue his behavior but they eventually had to subdue him and place him under arrest. LaBeouf then stumbled down the street, and apparently returned moments later for round two – and that was when he got picked up for jaywalking. He had a similar situation in NYC previous year, where he was arrested after acting insane at a Broadway play. That incident led to LaBeouf checking himself into rehab and then embarking on a lengthy apology tour.

LaBeouf was arrested on a count of public intoxication, according to the Travis County Sheriff’s Office.
