Shia LaBeouf Arrested For Public Intoxication

Officers put him in handcuffs as they arrested him, according to the TMZ celebrity news website. And that’s when police stopped him and arrested him.

Rising star of Hollywood cinema, Shia Labeouf has a career worthy of the greats, including a role in a blockbuster – Transformers – … and a few setbacks related to their addictions. Shia was apparently in town to attend a few Live concert, and was later arrested for public intoxication. A police representative told KVUE-TV that LaBeouf had allegedly attempted to cross against a “Don’t Walk” sign when he was picked up by cops. Shia began swearing up a storm and tried forcing himself into the bar but was blocked. CBS L.A. reports that LaBeouf was released from the Travis County Jail hours later on his own recognizance. However, another witness provided a video, shown in Fact #3, that shows LaBeouf calmly helping a very drunk woman into a vehicle just a few minutes before his arrest.

In June 2014, LaBeouf was taken in by police after having a meltdown in the audience at the Broadway musical Cabaret. “Police were called and he was detained and arrested”, an NYPD spokesman said at the time.

This is not the 29-year old’s first run in with the law. A judge ordered the actor to stay in treatment for three months then be on his behavior for six months to have the charges dropped.

Shia LaBeouf had yet another incident with officials on Friday evening.
