Shocking: CCTV Captures a Man Thrashing an Elderly Couple

A man assaulting an elderly couple in a shop in Chandigarh, was caught on camera. He first hit the old lady and when her husband tried to come to her rescue the man thrashed him as well.

The accused identified as Rajeev (21) allegedly entered the mobile shop run by Joginderpal Soni (58) and his wife Santhosh Kumari (56), and beat them up on Wednesday night, police said.

On Thursday, the man had come to the shop in Sector 18 of the Chandigarh city to meet the couples son over a dispute regarding his handset.

A rather chilling CCTV footage of a young man mercilessly beating an elderly couple in Chandigarh has surfaced. Later, the woman is seen trying to prevent her husband from being attacked.

The couple, who is in their 60s has been injured badly as the man has fractured his hand whereas the woman suffered a wound in her jaw.
