Shocking: David Cameron allegedly performed obscene act with dead pig, claims book
British Prime Minister David Cameron has been implicated in a piggate scandal.
Ashcroft, who co-authored the book with journalist Isabel Oakeshott, wrote that he had a “beef” with Cameron because he was not offered a senior government job as promised after the Conservatives were elected in 2010. A book, written by Lord Ashcroft has revealed that the Prime Minister was a member of a debauched “Piers Gaveston society” and had inserted his “private parts” into the mouth of a dead pig during the initiation ceremony.
According to No. 10 Downing Street, the PM’s place of residence, Cameron will not “dignify” these claims by responding to them. Cameron has previously refused to comment on similar claims about his activities while at university.
The book, called Call Me Dave, features a source who claimed to be present during the pig incident and has photographic evidence.
He said firmly: “Just to clear it up: nope, I’d never heard anything about Cameron and a pig when coming up with that story”.
The book contradicts the Tory claim that Cameron had only known about the non-dom matter for a month when it became public knowledge in 2010, with Lord Ashcroft claiming he first spoke to Cameron about the issue in 2009.
“After putting my neck on the line for almost ten years – both as party treasurer under William Hague and as deputy chairman – and after ploughing some £8m into the party, I regarded this as a declinable offer”, he wrote in the Mail.
In less scandalous revelations, Cameron’s friends from his Oxford days say he liked to sit in his dorm room smoking pot and listening to Supertramp.
The book also describes how the Tories’ Australian spin doctor Lynton Crosby described Mr Cameron as a “posh c***” while he was working in the Conservative Campaign headquarters during the 2005 general election.
“It’s not been denied by David, but he’s also said that we are not in the business of saying that politicians can’t have a private life before they come into politics”, Mr Osborne said.
As speculation rose over whether or not he knew about Lord Ashcroft’s allegation back in 2011, Brooker clarified that he did not.
