Shoppers continue visiting stores after Black Friday deals begin earlier this year
The deals at many stories started Thursday night, but Bierman said she refuses to shop on Thanksgiving because she believes “the holiday should be for family”. Target will be pushing its Cyber Monday deals on Sunday and spreading them to the stores as well as online, and CEO Brian Cornell thinks those days could be the busiest of the year.
Black Friday turned out to be a damp squib for the malls in the United States, with stores witnessing a lower customer turnout despite the steep prices opening its doors to the biggest shopping extravaganza, Reuters reported.

Penney also started its Black Friday online sales on Wednesday instead of Thursday to compete better with online-only companies.

Cyber Monday 2016 will be on 28 November 2016. The retailer said that Target.com saw double-digit growth on Thanksgiving, driven by deals on electronics like televisions and Apple products. “You can buy TVs, you can buy appliances, you can buy clothing”.
Target Corp., meanwhile, is offering 15 percent off nearly everything in its stores and website for two days: Sunday and Monday.
The frenzied shopping day that is typically marked by a mad rush for doorbuster deals has been replaced by Thanksgiving Day and online shopping.

If websites don’t buckle under the strain, there is the cost of transporting goods to stores for click-and-collect orders – which are usually free – or to consumers’ homes, which can also sometimes be free. Adobe estimates that this will be the biggest Cyber Monday on record, with more than $3.3 billion in projected US online sales.
