Shopping Deals Better than Black Friday

At the Target in Lititz, Ayisha Collins said the store was “still as busy” on its fifth Black Friday as it was in the past, even though it had a robust Thanksgiving.
Shoppers who sacrificed hours waiting in line for a deal viewed the exercise as an alternative way to spend time with family, infused with every bit as much holiday spirit as a turkey dinner.
Nakeya Julian, a retail sales associate for The North Face in the Desert Hills Premium Outlets, said crowds had been coming in waves since the stores opened on Thanksgiving. In Nevada, RAN predicts more than 280,000 consumers will shop on the holiday this year, down from almost 380,000 in 2014.
By the end of the day retail analyst Experian-IMRG predicts that spending online will hit £1.07 billion, a 32% increase on last year’s £810 million.
Of course, the hours will vary by store, but Walmart will be open until midnight on Black Friday, with Target letting shoppers in until 11 p.m., with both stores having opened their doors beginning on Thanksgiving night. And it was a big deal when Park City opened at 7 a.m. on Black Friday, at that time its earliest opening ever. The National Retail Federation (NRF) says about 136 million people will shop during the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend.
