Police are now investigating after shots were fired inside of a North Carolina mall on Christmas Eve.
Authorities said people at the Northlake Mall heard several gunshots.
A medic says one person suffered a leg injury.
Witnesses also say they saw people running out of stores and traffic became gridlocked as people tried to leave the mall.
One viewer tells WCNC’s Sonja Gantt that the shooting occurred near the Apple Store inside the mall. Two other people were being treated, one who had gone into labor and another patient who had an asthma attack, the agency tweeted.
