Shots fired in Neenah, incident ‘high-risk’
Police in Neenah, WI, are on the scene of a reported shooting in motorcycle shop.
Police said a man waked into the store and fired a weapon, WBAY-TV in Green Bay reported.
A suspect was taken into custody after police responded to a “high-risk situation” in Neenah, Wis., after at least one shot was sacked.
The ATF is sending agents from Milwaukee to help assist local police with their investigation of a hostage situation in Neenah with an active-shooter. The injured officer has non-life-threatening injuries. Robots from nearby Appleton, WI, are being used to enter the building.
Action 2 News reporter Emily Matesic says media are being moved back from the scene of the shooting and standoff at Eagle Nation Cycles in Neenah. The business claimed its rights were violated by the “hyper-militarized” raid.
At 10:34 a.m., police posted another alert that warned residents of possible gunfire in the area between downtown Neenah and the bridge.
The lawsuit asks for $50 million in damages is still unresolved.
