Should Windows 10 Mobile 10586.107 Be the Windows Phone Upgrade Version?
“The Release Preview ring will focus on Insiders that want to stay on the Current Branch (currently builds based off of 10586), but continue to receive early access to updates, application updates, and driver updates”, Microsoft explains in a new announcement on its Windows Experience Blog.
Microsoft pushed out a fresh update to the preview version of Windows 10 Mobile to testers this week which comprises mostly bug fixes, while at the same time adding a new Release Preview Ring aimed at testers who want to see updates before they hit general availability, but with minimal risk to stability. It also provides improved support for Narrator, thus giving the feature improved functionality. Release Preview users will get the update early. Finally, the company has listened to people’s wishes and created a website where the users can find details for all previous updates and when a new update will be rolled out, the page will be refreshed.
If you don’t have an account yet, download the Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview app and install it on your phone.
As mentioned earlier, the new Windows 10 Mobile build 10586.107 comes in to fix issues that the previous version came in with.
More news about the Windows 10 Mobile update and the new Insider groups should be made available soon.
And last but not least, Gabe Aul, the head of the Windows Insider program, previously said in a tweet about build 10586.71 that Microsoft meant to release it to the fast ring, then slow ring, and then, depending on the feedback it received, “to everyone”.

Meanwhile, with so much activity going on behind the scenes from the consumer point of view, it could be just days for Windows 10 Mobile users to be served the latest update which hopefully leads to a better user experience with their Windows phones. Even the “Slow Ring” of Windows Insider still involves some risks, but Microsoft now has an intriguing alternative.
