Showtime debuts standalone streaming service
In addition to on-demand programming, Showtime offers users access to live East and West Coast feeds of its network.
The service doesn’t differ much to HBO’s internet streaming service, HBO NOW, which similarly initiated as an Apple exclusive.
This move is the latest in a trend of television networks offering programming to consumers without a cable TV contract.
What is Showtime’s new streaming service?

Showtime recently announced that it will offer its channel over the internet without requiring a conventional cable subscription and the option to pay for it month to month.
