Shy Glizzy Arrested In Maryland

In Silver Spring, Md., local police arrested D.C. rapper Shy Glizzy yesterday afternoon.

One report alleges that Glizzy was charged with “disorderly conduct, failure to obey lawful order, obstructing an officer, riot, and resisting arrest”, but none of these charges have been confirmed. Sources say that his arrest resulted after a domestic dispute with a woman.

Several videos have popped up online showing the “I Did It” rapper being placed in handcuffs while on positioned on top of a police vehicle. Glizzy’s girlfriend was also detained, although there were no details on how she was involved in the situation. Glizzy is visibly upset and is yelling at the cops about something. Some bystanders shout “Free Glizzy” as they watch; others yell “f*** 12”, a rebuke of the cops.

Shy Glizzy has since been released on bail.
