Simon Cowell Has Nothing to Do With Zayn Malik Anymore
Of course, it was only a matter of time before Louis made Zayn’s exit Twitter official, but it still stings just a bit, and Directioners’ responses ranged from denial to devastation.
Speaking at yesterday’s X Factor press launch Simon told Yahoo that ever since Zayn moved from his SYCO record label to another Sony branch, he has had no contact with the hunk. Will Zayn really be alright in his solo career? The previous band mates have made no secret of the very fact they may not be on one of the best terms after the pair clashed over Naughty Boy, while more just lately Louis liked Calvin Harris’ twitter site message which took goal at Zayn.
Zayn – who quit in March – changed his handle on the social networking website from @ZaynMalik1D to @ZaynMalik and removed his brief biography entirely. There’s also a song about losing someone (but not Malik), another about the band being on shaky ground (likely because of Malik) and others that are inspired by 1960’s pop, in contrast to the arena rock One Direction explored on 2014’s Four.
He tweeted: “Your support is truly indescribable!”
“Can’t wait to put more time into everything we do and coming out with something great…”
Following reports that the band are splitting for good early next year, the boys took to Twitter to assure fans that this isn’t the end for them as a group.
