Simon Cowell launching a mid-week show in a bid to save ratings
Strictly’s It Takes Two and The Voice UK’s Louder programmes air every weeknight but the new Xtra Factor will start with only the one midweek episode, airing on the Wednesday evening.
Saturday night sees the last X Factor arena auditions of the series – yes, it’s nearly time for Boot Camp, folks.
A representative for Rita Ora had no comment on the story.
Although while there was stress over performances and song choices, there was also free booze, a pool and welcome party.
But fear not fans of the weekend, Xtra Factor will still be on after the main show – all it means is that we’ll be getting even more X in our lives, and that’s never a bad thing really, is it?
But not everyone gelled with squabbles and tantrums being thrown.

Debbie was keen to sway the vote in their favour so she walked onto the stage, took the microphone from one of her boys and made a slightly off-key plea in song-form for Cowell to put them through to bootcamp.
Those that make it through the cuts over the next two weeks will get through the “brutal” six chair challenge.
One by one, the acts in each of the four categories will sing for the judges and a live audience at Wembley.

It’s going to be war between the judges on Saturday night’s The X Factor – one that involves copious amounts of ice cream.
