Simon Cowell Lost The Head On Tonight’s X Factor
In tonight’s explosive episode, viewers will see Cowell row with the 21-year-old contestant after he threw a strop over the short length of his audition slot.
The difference is that there’s a difference between confidence and defiance, and Mason was not thrilled with how his audition received only a minute of air time in the first show.
The X Factor supremo immediately objected: “You are being a complete a******e”.
Boos erupted around Wembley’s SSE Arena as Noise argued with Cowell.
Not unreasonably, Simon was livid and pointed out that the show’s editors and producers had spent a good deal of time “putting your tape together” and insisted that Mason apologise.
“If you’ve got a problem please go”. “Well then, go”, the head judge ordered.
He was instructed to leave by Cowell, and stormed off stage dropping his microphone loudly.
After his performance the rapper launched into an ill-judged tirade, before mentor Nick Grimshaw could even give his verdict on the performance.
But he admitted the dreaded Six Chair Challenge – where no one is safe until the last singer has performed – was a really tough experience.
One of the three stand-out Boys on the night was Che Chesterton from Essex.
“My ultimate dream is Seann Miley Moore live at Madison Square Garden”. He sang a Shirley Bassey song in a gold dress and high heels.
Josh Daniel also bagged a trip to judges’ houses and can be backed at 16/1 with Simon Lynch and Ben Clark both on offer at 20/1.
Now it’s the turn of 31-year-old Grimshaw and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, who is in charge of the Groups. As if that wasn’t enough, it’s also sibling versus sibling.
Cheryl and Louis have swapped barbed comments in the past, with the Irish manager calling her “lazy” and “irrelevant” and comparing her to past X Factor judges Mel B and Nicole Scherzinger.
The Louis Walsh rumour mill (yes, there is such a thing, we’ve seen it) is in overdrive right now, what with the increasingly talked about suggestion that he’s being lined up for a shock return to The X Factor.
