Sindhu receives Rs 5 crore cheque from Telangana CM
A day after being felicitated by Telangana government, Olympic silver medallist P V Sindhu was today accorded a rousing welcome by the Andhra Pradesh government for her stupendous performance at the just-concluded Rio Games.
Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mehmood Ali and his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N. Chinnarajappa and ministers from the two states presented bouquets.
“The coach that she has right now (Gopichand) is also good but beyond that, we wish for her to get a gold from the next tournament”, he added.
