Siri Suggestions in iOS 9 is replacing the home screen
(NASDAQ:AAPL) iOS 9’s beta release rarely navigate to the home screen as the new Siri Suggestions screen in iOS has almost everything that users need.
But there are a lot of tiny differences coming that’ll make your device easier to use. So you don’t even have to hit the home button to exit an app if you opened that app from the Suggestions page.
Feeling adventurous? The next version of Apple’s mobile operating system is set for release this fall, but the company is – for the first time – offering the public a chance to take iOS 9 for a test drive.
The new Low Power Mode on the iOS 9 can be a lifesaver.
Siri also has a few updates to her, with a “deep search” that you can run from the search bar to open something within an app from your phone (if it supports it) as well as predictive suggestions. It comes very handy when you need to read an email and take down notes at the same time or while researching on a webpage and writing a report.

The App Store is a vast space filled with all sorts of applications, but when you’re looking for something of good quality and just a bit aside from the mainstream, it could be hard to find. In iOS 9, the users can track specific amount of information stored in the phone without needing to recollect which specific app they are stored in.
Apple Inc has just launched a new public beta version of iOS 9. If the software works to its full potential, it certainly would be a game changer for the iPhone. There’s a special app called “Move to iOS” that you can download on your Android phone which then securely transfers all your photos, contacts, messages, bookmarks, mail accounts, calendars and wallpapers.
The open beta features of iOS 9 can work with iPad Air, Air 2, mini 2 and mini 3. I tried typing in other foods such as chicken, avocado, and bacon, and it didn’t pull results from Yummly like I expected. This is also probably because it’s an early version of the software that’s not meant for widespread release yet, so we’ll get a better idea of how it really works in the fall. But in iOS 9, a new “back” button appears at the top left of your screen that takes you back to the last app you were using. The home screen remains relevant in Android as you can tailor it with whatever you wish.
