‘Sisters’: Watch trailer for movie starring Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, John Cena

Tina and Amy met up with fellow SNl veteran Jimmy on his chat show where they played a game of True Confessions. “Looking to recapture their glory days, they throw one final high-school-style party for their classmates, which turns into the cathartic rager that a bunch of ground-down adults really need”. The movie is rated R for “crude sexual content”, and when you see where Poehler’s character’s ballerina music box ends up, you’ll get an idea of what that content entails.

Previously known as ‘The Nest, ‘ the upcoming American comedy film is directed by Jason Moore. Ever linked, both occupied the same comedy block on NBC for years with their separate acclaimed (and recently concluded) television shows- Fey’s 30 Rock and Poehler’s Parks and Recreation. Now the trailer is online and you can check it out in the player below! John Leguizamo (Moulin Rouge!), Heather Matarazzo (Welcome to the Dollhouse), John Cena (Trainwreck), Ike Barinholtz (Neighbors), James Brolin (Burlesque) and two-time Oscar victor Dianne Wiest (Hannah and Her Sisters) co-star. Sisters is slated to hit theaters on December 18, 2015.
