Site of deadly OH team crash had another accident days ago
Members of the Worthington Kilbourne and Thomas Worthington water polo teams were traveling to a tournament this morning when the van carrying Kilbourne girls and their family members crashed with the truck west of Bowling Green.
As of 2:39 p.m., the Henry County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that one person involved in the accident has died while five others were injured.
The crash happened near Napoleon, southeast of Toledo. The van was carrying members of a team from Worthington Kilbourne High School in suburban Columbus to a tournament in Napoleon.
Vicki Fisher, 45, and daughter Melanie Fisher, 14, were listed in critical condition in ProMedica Toledo Hospital, while daughter Betsey Fisher, 17, was discharged from Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center.

The sheriff’s office says 19-year-old van passenger Courtney Fisher died at the scene. The sheriff’s office described their injuries as “life-threatening”. The vehicles collided and both went into a ditch. “I feel for these people”, he added.
