Sixers rookie Okafor in street fight

The loss dropped them to 0-16 this season and tied the National Basketball Association record for consecutive losses with 26.

Well, aside from being one of the more promising young stars in the National Basketball Association, apparently Jahlil Okafor packs a bit of a punch with him, and there’s evidence of that.

At the start of the video, Okafor can be heard shouting to someone, “We got money, you broke ass…”

Now TMZ did speak with a representative of Okafor, who basically said that he was defending himself after feeling threatened.

The 211-centimetre 125 kilogram centre is seen in footage published on tmz.com pushing a man and then punching him to the ground before being set upon.

“The 76ers suck”, the man reportedly said.

A source confirmed to ESPN’s Jeff Goodman that Okafor was involved in a street fight Wednesday night.

TMZ reported that Okafor and his buddies got into an altercation outside a Storyville Boston nightclub. The Sixers face the Rockets Friday night.
