Sky Poll: 30% Of Britons Support Trump On Muslim Ban Call

More than half-a-million Britons have since signed a petition calling on Trump to be blocked entry to the United Kingdom over his “unacceptable behaviour” and “hate speech”.

Praising Britain as “one of the most successful multi-racial, multi-faith, multi-ethnic countries anywhere in the world”, he told the House of Commons: “I agree with her it is right we exclude people when they are going to radicalise or encourage extremism”.

Prime Minister David Cameron said Donald Trump’s remarks on Muslims were “divisive, stupid and wrong”.

It comes after Mr Trump called for a “total and complete shutdown of the Muslims entering the United States” in the wake of the mass shooting in San Bernardino, California and deadly terror attack in Paris.

“I was raised to believe that we are all each other’s brother and sister, regardless of race, creed or color”, he added. “I feel honored and proud of that not as a Muslim but as an American”.

“We are all Muslim”, he continued.

“Just as we are all Mexican, we are all Catholic and Jewish and white and black and every shade in between”.

He then called on Trump to leave Americans alone so they could elect a better presidential candidate.

The loss of the long-running legal battle is another blow for Mr Trump, who has found himself under fire for controversial remarks made on the campaign trail in recent weeks, including proposing a ban on Muslims entering the US.
