Skylake MacBooks Could See A Staggered Release In 2016

This suggests that Apple could take advantage of these new chipsets and start rolling them out in the MacBook Pro 2016 lineup. Apple does not have anything to announce regarding this year’s Macs, MacBooks or any other devices other devices till now.

Here’s the latest round-up of news about MacBooks’ release date, specs and features. According to Digitimes’ sources, the new 15-inch models will enter production at some point in the third quarter.

What may have added to the assumption is that the company has unveiled the refreshed versions of the 11-inch and 13-inch Macbook Air computers and launched the 12-inch MacBook around the same time a year ago during the “Spring Forward” event.

However, some rumors have been indicating that Apple will push the 13-inch MacBook Pro later on in the year so that is arrives during WWDC. The particular screen size of the Air or Pro has not been mentioned either.

With that information, let’s wait and see if the new MacBook models will hit the market this June.

For the entire 12 month span of 2015, shipments of Macs were up 4.03 percent to 20.38 million units, while Mac revenues had increased 2.61 percent to $25.273 billion United States dollars. Among them, 5 million of were iMacs, according to the tech site.
