Skype status, calling and login outage
Right now it isn’t known why Skype is down but it might not be back for a few more hours, we will update this post should Skype come back online.
The hugely successful Microsoft messenger is not working for users across the globe.
We can see that Skype is down on September 21 with some surprise and unexpected connection problems. Users in India, Australia, Europe, United States, and New Zealand among several other nations are having issues.
V3 contacted Skype for more information on this issue but had received no reply at the time of publication. “We have detected an issue with the status settings of Skype”, the company said on its website.
It appears that people from around the world using the Skype app are unable to access their accounts, change status updates or make Skype calls.
The company assured that it is working on a fix.
Are you wondering why your Skype is not working? “Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused while we get this resolved”. Numerous users are now complaining on social media that they are not able to sign in.
Interestingly, the web version of Skype still works, so if you’re in desperate need to communicate with a contact, you could try your luck on the web client.
Skype is suffering from a major outage as the service fails to send messages or recognize users’ presence on the site.
