Slight chance of thunderstorms Tuesday
Southwest wind 6 to 8 miles per hour. Showers and thunderstorms will be sporadic this afternoon and evening before dying out by sundown.
WEDNESDAY: Cloudy with morning thunderstorms. West northwest winds up to 15 miles per hour are possible. Again, the primary risks will be damaging wind, large hail and an isolated tornado.
Tuesday afternoon is expected to be in the low to mid-90s for the afternoon, mainly north of the I-20 line.
THURSDAY: Thunderstorms will continue pushing into central and eastern Minnesota early in the day. Monday night, a chance of showers and thunderstorms; mostly cloudy, with a low around 66. It will also feel more uncomfortable because the combination of warm temperatures and high humidy levels are also to push the heat index to near 100 degrees. This means cooler and unsettled weather are expected.
Thursday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 91. A pretty quiet weekend with only small storm chances.
