Slumping Steelers lose Cam Heyward for season due to injury

The Ravens, who had a losing record past year, beat the Steelers twice. They’re also 1-4 against the spread in their last five games versus AFC opponents and have failed to cover the spread in four of their last five games after scoring less than 15 points in their previous game. The Steelers have too many defensive players who either aren’t good enough or smart enough to be successful. I also note that the tackling generally has been poor.

Roethlisberger knows the Steelers have to find a way to develop more offensive consistency on the road. Pittsburgh’s wide receiver depth has really been tested this year.

One line from the “Steelers Polka” runs, “Winning’s a habit, not only a dream”. However, he has yet to record a tackle in nine career games.

“My role will change as I cannot play but it will not change the goals the team has set out”, Heyward wrote.
