Smoke bombs hurled at police in King’s Cross pro-migrants demo
Activists also claimed the demonstrators were subjected to kettling – a police tactic where groups that police wish to suppress are held in a tight cordon until being allowed to leave one by one.

However, they were stopped by officers from the Met and British Transport Police as they tried to get on to Eurostar platforms and the demonstration turned violent when paint and smoke bombs were thrown.
The scuffles took place as a group of No Borders campaigners partook in a protest calling for an end to immigration controls.
Photos posted on Twitter showed green and purple smoke bombs going off around officers in high-visibility yellow jackets.
They added there had been no arrests or injuries.

The activists were demonstrating outside the station where Eurostar trains arrive in London and at about 6pm a few attempted to storm the terminal, despite a heavy police presence.
Police officers brandishing metal truncheons eventually forced protesters back from the metal barriers and away from the station.
