Snapchat Adds 3D Touch Support, Slow-Mo, Fast Forward, and Rewind Filters

Lastly, the rewind filter will put shots in reverse. Force touch Snapchat’s app icon, and you can quickly chat or add a new friend from the drop-down menu. As of October 2015 Snapchat is winning the battle when it comes to video views.

Today, the app is adding video filters that let you slow down, speed up or rewind. This will give users more creative control over the end result, and continue to push Snapchat’s boundaries in fun new directions.

As the names of the Speed Modifiers suggest, slow-motion slows videos down, fast-forward increases the pace of the video and rewind plays the video backwards. They recently introduced new filters to the app where users can mask several different faces – literally – and an emoji button so we can add as many emojis to Snaps as we want. Over the next year there is a good chance Snapchat will do their best to enhance their discovery options for friends, family members and random people. Look for this to come with one of the next updates in late 2015 or early 2016.
