Sneak Peek at ‘How to Get Away with Murder’ Midseason Finale

In tonight’s ninth episode and season two winter finale of How to Get Away with Murder – “What Did We Do?” – we will finally be privy to who shot Annalise (Viola Davis).

Meanwhile, Nowalk also mentioned that there were a few flash-forwards that we have already seen that were intentionally left out of the finale, with the big statement from Asher to the police being one of them. In a convoluted and slightly mad twist, Annalise again attempted to protect someone she loved (Billy Brown’s Nate, who was being targeted by Sinclair), by having Bonnie drive Sinclair’s body to the siblings’ house, throw her over the edge as though Catherine (Amy Okuda) had done it, then called in her own shooting to complete Catherine’s framing. It quickly became an easy decision for him to pull the trigger after Annalise told him that Rebecca (Katie Findlay) was indeed dead.

We also, hopefully, get a definitive answer as to how Emily Sinclair died, and if Catherine Hapstall and her cousin (and possible lover) Philip had anything to do with her parents’ and aunt’s deaths. Caleb wants time to actually think about accepting the deal. I guess I don’t know if to watch a TV show you inherently need to want the people to succeed and root for them. I won’t say one way or another, but I will give you real credit for putting that together from that one little comment.
