SNL Season 41 Adds Jon Rudnitsky as First New Cast Member
Saturday Night Live has been shaking up its cast lately, with tons of new faces added in recent years.
Jon Rudnitsky, a 25-year-old stand-up comedian from New Jersey, will join the long-running sketch series as a featured player, NBC said in a statement. Please note though that the powers that be often pull new cast members’ personal videos offline before they join Saturday Night Live, so you may have a limited time to catch his comedy before his SNL debut. Hell be joining the team as a featured player during Season 41. Rudnitsky won the John Ritter Memorial Award For Outstanding Comic Performance from USC’s BFA Acting Conservatory program and also won the Laugh Factory’s Laugh Bowl College Comedy Competition. Last month, he was part of the 2015 New Faces lineup at the Just For Laughs festival.

Season 41 premieres on October. 3 with host Miley Cyrus. Amy Schumer and SNL alum Tracy Morgan will also host this season on October 10th and 17th respectively.
