Snoop Dogg’s Son, Cordell Broadus, Decides To Leave UCLA Football Team
Hopefully Snoop Dogg didn’t really throw out all of his USC gear, because it looks like he will no longer have a conflict of interest going forward.
Cordell Broadus, rapper Snoop Dogg’s son, will quit the UCLA football team, Tracy Pierson of Scout.com reports. Still, he never showed up for UCLA’s preseason camp, which began on Monday at Cal State San Bernardino.
“Cordell informed me he’s decided to pursue other passions in life… his love of film through his company Film School Productions”, Mora said in a statement.
He was not expected to make an immediate impact for the Bruins in 2015, but losing a four-star wide receiver – regardless of his notoriety – is rarely seen in a positive light.
Broadus is still eligible to enroll in school at UCLA since he attended summer session. The Bruins return their five leading pass-catchers from last season, including senior Jordan Payton, who had 954 receiving yards and seven touchdowns in 2014.
Sean “Diddy” Combs, whose son Justin Combs is a reserve defensive back with the Bruins, was arrested in June after an altercation with UCLA strength coach Sal Alosi over the treatment of his son.
