Snoop Dogg Wants To Sell You Burger King’s Hot Dogs
Burger King is preparing to add hot dogs to the menu at its U.S. restaurants, tapping into an alliance made possible by the merger of Kraft Foods and H.J. Heinz. Macedo said about the only new ingredients were buns and relish. The grilled dogs hit stores nationwide February 23 and maybe you will see Snoop grilling one of your dogs at a store near you, we hope. In 2014, Burger King’s sales rose 2.1 percent at established locations in the USA and Canada. The hot dogs are coming from Oscar Mayer, which, like Burger King, is managed by 3G Capital, the private equity firm founded by Brazilian billionaire Jorge Paulo Lemann. Parent company Restaurant Brands International Inc. reports results for 2015 next week.
Burger King has always been known as the “Home of the Whopper” to fast food fans. They failed less than a year later.
“Burger King is doin” its thing, ‘ he says before turning to an employee and telling him to get grilling.
