Snyder hopeful for more Medicaid coverage amid Flint crisis

Demonstrators, including Tuliane Stokes of Lansing, say Snyder should face an investigation and potentially prosecution over his alleged role in the Flint water crisis.
The heavy toll exacted on the residents of Flint, Michigan, goes beyond the potential health consequences of consuming lead-contaminated water.
Also Thursday, the Michigan House approved million to help cover residents’ water bills and an Obama adviser promised 0,000 for the city.
“To make Flint’s residents pay for even 1 percent of their poisoned water is a bad mistake”, Neeley said in a statement. As a result lead, a neurotoxin, and other contaminants seeped into the water through the pipes.
