Sofia Vergara Reveals “It’s Going To Be Big!” About Fall Wedding to Joe Manganiello at SAG Awards 2015
Wedding plans are being made by Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello as the actress reveals that she is planning a very, very big celebration in fall.
At the Screen Actors Guild Awards held on Sunday, 25th Jan, the Modern Family actress flaunted her stunning engagement ring as she walked the red carpet first time post her engagement with fiancé Manganiello. At the awards the actress wore a figure hugging Donna Karen Atelier red gown while her Magic Mike fiancé Manganiello wore a tuxedo.
Sadly, Vergara and her fellow Modern Family cast lost the award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy to the Netflix series Orange is the New Black. But the actress, 42, disclosed while walking the red carpet that thanks to her recent engagement there is a lot to celebrate about.
The Colombian-American actress while showing off her diamond ring to Shaun Robinson from Access Hollywood’s said that for her “it’s all about bling bling” so Manganiello knew “what she needed.” She joked that she took the ring and checked by acting out as if she was biting the diamond to check its authenticity and then replied in affirmative to the proposal. Later she revealed that she was joking and would have said “okay” any way since he was so handsome.
The 38-year old Manganiello proposed to Vergara over the holidays though he wanted to propose in front of her family. The two started dating in July last year over the summer after Vergara broke off her engagement with her ex Nick Loeb. Just like their whirlwind affair, they don’t want to slow down as they prepare for the wedding. Owing to work plans they can’t plan to tie the knot in summer but the couple are preparing for a fall wedding.
Vergara said that they are figuring out details as the both are busy, Manganiello with shooting and promoting Magic Mike and she is tied up with promotions for her movie with Reese Witherspoon, so they are trying to plan the nuptials in fall as summer is very busy for them.
Even if the wedding date is yet to be fixed, Vergara promises that her wedding day will be a grand celebration and revealed with a grin “It’s going to be big” and joked that they started with 20 guests on the list and now it runs into pages.
